MOBILE PHONES/SMART WATCHES
PLEASE READ THIS POINT OF CLARIFICATION REGARDING STUDENT CELL PHONES/SMART WATCHES IN SCHOOL
We understand the desire that parents have for students to carry cell phones to facilitate transportation, etc. However, students are NOT to have cell phones/smartwatches in their immediate possession during the school day. Cell phones/smart watches must be kept in lockers and must be turned off at the time students enter the building. Cell phones/smart watches are to be used only outdoors and outside the school day hours of 8:00-3:00. Students have all been informed that they are NEVER to use cell phones/smart watches inside the building, regardless of the time of day. If you need to have contact by phone with your student during the school day please use the school phone number (436-1217) or ask that your student call you using the school line. Remember, the text message you send your student during the day may result in disciplinary consequences for him/her if the phone/watch has been left on and should ring in class.
