STAFF: Please remember to set out bins 6th period for recycling.
BASKETBALL: We have 2 important basketball announcements. First off, boys basketball tryouts will take place on Monday, December 15th through Wednesday, December 17th. That is the last week of the 2nd quarter. Please remember to fill out and turn in your blue medical form. This is required even if you have filled it out in the past. Thank you!
Second, girls basketball will be playing Goodrich this Wednesday at Lincoln High at 7:00 PM. The winner of that game will go on to play Scott at 8:00 PM. Only athletes and family members of athletes are allowed to attend Wednesday night’s event. If Pound advances, then please come support them Friday night at Southeast High School.
Intramural Drama, Speech and Debate is accepting registrations for all interested 6th, 7th and 8th grader students. A family information session will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Southeast High School in the auditorium. Please see your English, Humanities, Reading or Drama teacher for more information. This program is free.
The LPS Oral Spelling Bee will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Culler Middle School. The Spelling Bee is open to students in grades 6-8. More information is available from your English, Humanities, Reading or Drama teacher. 2/5
