SEPTEMBER 11TH: Today, we observe the 23rd anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and the tragic downing of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania. These attacks claimed the lives of 2,996 individuals and injured thousands more. On this day, we take time to honor the memory of those lost and pay tribute to the brave first responders who sacrificed their lives to save others. Let us remember their courage and unity in the face of adversity. Today in social studies and humanities classes you will be talking a little bit about this topic.

SCHOOL STORE: The Pound store will be open again this Friday. Here is a small list of some of the items for sale: Candy, jewelry, pencils, erasers, and toys! Don’t forget, there is also the “half store” with all the items 10 Pounds or less!
