ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

TODAY IS EARTH DAY!!  Let’s all show some love to our planet helping out to clean up our school grounds. Pick up trash in the hall or at recess and make sure to sort your tray at lunch and in the classroom. If we all work together, we can make a big difference. Every little bit counts!

8th GRADERS – LSE COLOR GUARD: Open Gym is today  from 5:30 – 8:00. Tryouts are May 5th from 5:30 – 8:00. All events are in the LSE Gym. Look for posters in the 8th grade halls and Commons. 

EXTRA MILE WALK: The Extra Mile Walk for the Food Bank of Lincoln is this Saturday April 26th, 10:00 AM at Northwest High School. This is a Family friendly event with music, games,  and food trucks! Come walk the extra mile to show your support and help end child hunger in our communities. Flyers are available in the Office. 

MAYOR’S RUN: The 38th Annual Mayor’s Run presents the 1 Mile Kid’s Run, May 3rd at the State Capital. Register at LINCOLNRUN.ORG or stop in the office for a flyer.

DETASSELING: Would you like to make some money over the Summer break detasseling? There are flyers in the Counseling Center with more information.

STUCO SOCK DRIVE:  Don’t forget to bring socks for the Student Council Sock Drive for Cedars Youth Services. Our building goal is 800 pairs of new socks, this is a little over one pair per student. The grade that donates the most socks will get to pie an Admin at lunch time. 

Bin locations: 6th = outside the library 7th and 8th in the commons.
