SPIRIT WEEK & PENNY WARS!! It’s finally Penny Wars Week! Remember that paper money and silver coins add points to your grade, and pennies in another grade’s bin subtract! You can find the 7th and 8th grade bins in the commons, while the 6th grade bin is in their hallway outside the Library. Make sure to stop by after school to raise money for the Children’s Hospital – and don’t forget the grand prize of extra recess for the winning grade!
It’s also spirit week! I hope everyone is enjoying your comfy clothes today! Tomorrow’s theme is Color Our World with Kindness, wear Orange to show your support for a student in our building who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia, so dress up in as much Orange as you can! Don’t forget to stop by our student council table outside the cafeteria at lunch and enter your name in the drawing to win a prize!
For our first Daily Kindness challenge, we are challenging you to a dash of kindness. Throughout the day, give someone new a compliment to make their day just that much better 🙂
