8TH GRADERS: The Science Focus Program will hold an information session on Tuesday, October 22nd. You may attend from 5-6 pm or 6-7pm. Address is 1222 S 27th St (Lincoln Children’s Zoo).

ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS: The Career Academy invites you to take the next step and explore their many offerings during a special open house this Sunday, Oct. 20, from 1 – 3 p.m. at TCA’s campus, located at 8800 O St.

STUDENT EQUITY COMMITTEE: Are you or a friend passionate about equity or social justice and want to make a difference at Pound? The Pound Student Equity Committee is a leadership group that will meet regularly throughout the year to learn and discuss equitable outcomes for all students. You can nominate yourself or a friend/peer that you think would be a leader in this area. 6th grade has many open spots but students from other grades may be nominated. Staff members can also submit nominations using the jump code: YHRI. Nominations are due Thursday Oct 24th.
