Track and Field Sign-Ups Now Open! Calling all 7th and 8th graders! Are you ready to put your sprinting, jumping, and throwing skills to the test? The track team sign-ups are now open to all interested students. 

To register, please visit Jump Code: RGY6 and fill out the form with your information and event preferences. Make sure you submit the form by Monday, March 18th to secure your spot. Practice starts on the week of Monday, March 25th. 

YEARBOOK: 8th graders: Would you like to add your words of wisdom to Pound’s yearbook? If so, use jump code GKPE to enter your quote. Appropriate quotes only.

IN CELEBRATION OF LEAP DAY: Thursday, February 29th Pound Middle School will continue to raise money for the Food Bank of Lincoln’s BackPack program. This is the program that makes our Food Market’s possible here at Pound! Please see below for two opportunities to contribute to this amazing cause.

  1. Money will be collected in 2nd period classes on LEAP Day (Thursday)

Our overall goal is $2,024 (for the year 2024)

The 2nd period class that raises the most money will receive a donut party.  Upon achievement of overall goal, each grade level will nominate one teacher or staff member to be slimed with green jello. Any checks should be made payable to the Food Bank of Lincoln.

URBAN AIR: Leap and Jump for a good cause! Join us at Urban Air on Feb. 29th from 4-8pm.  20% of the evening’s proceeds will go to the Food Bank of Lincoln if you mention you’re with Pound Middle School.
