ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

POUND STORE: Friday the store will be open after school in the Cafeteria.

ATTENTION TRACK & FIELDERS: for student-athletes ONLY interested in a running event (long distance or sprints), your practices will begin next week.

For NEW! 7th graders or 8th graders, today and tomorrow after school you’ll have the opportunity to test out field events to see if they are for you.

Field events include Shot Put, Long jump, High jump, and Hurdling. Students interested in trying out field events may come to practice today and/or tomorrow after school.

Important: For all student-athletes, keep an eye on jump code BORK to to register for your events by Friday this week and to also see your weekly practice schedule for those events.

LSE CHEER: Want to be a positive representative at LSE? Join us for tryouts April 3 – 6th. Applications are found at LSE.LPS.ORG under “Activities and Cheer”.

THE DESIGN A BOOKMARK COMPETITION is ready for your votes! Stop in the library before or after school to vote for your favorite designs.  Winners will be announced Friday!

TODAY IS THE DAY! It is 3-23-23!  In celebration, 3rd period classes will be competing to raise money for the Food Bank, BackPack program, and Food Market. Please consider donating $3 or $23 today 3-23-23!  The third period class that raises the most money in that single day will be awarded with full size 3 Musketeers bars.  When we reach our school goal of $2,323, each grade will get to nominate a teacher or staff member to receive a pie in the face. 

CALLING ALL EIGHTH GRADERS: Explore more than a dozen pathways offered at The Career Academy during the open house this Sunday from 1-3 p.m. TCA is located at 8800 “O” Street. Transportation is available at each middle school for interested students. Stop by the Counseling Center for information on the busing schedule or visit TCA’s website home.lps.org/tca/. Registration is not required to attend.

STUCO: Student council meets tomorrow during your grade’s lunch.
