REMINDER: There is no school tomorrow. We DO have school Monday.
STEAM FEST: The Zoetis-LPS-GSK Science Fair is going virtual this year and becoming the 2021 Zoetis-LPS-GSK STEAM Fest! You will have a chance to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. The STEAM Fest is for all LPS 5th – 8th grade students online, from April 8th – 22nd, 2021. Check out the many videos, activities, and resources available on lps.org/steamfest including a t-shirt design challenge. Your design could be featured on the STEAM Fest t-shirt!
Students who participate fill out an online form letting us know which activities they completed. Each participant receives a STEAM Fest t-shirt, AND they will be entered into a drawing for amazing STEAM prizes!
STAR TRAN BUS RIDERS: The Southpointe Bus #53 route has some changes. Starting April 1st through May 12th, the bus will come every hour instead of every 1/2 hour. (3:10pm, 4:10pm).
STUDENTS: LPS Summer Athletic Clinics are now posted on the LPS website and registration is now open. You can also find a link on the Pound Athletics website, on the ANNOUNCEMENTS PAGE.
FCS FOOD TRUCKS: Vote for your favorite food truck in the Commons display case. There you will see 8th grade FCS Food Truck business which includes their menu and food truck design. Directions on how to vote are found in the display case.
