RED RIBBON WEEK: Pound is celebrating Red Ribbon Week this Week. Red Ribbon Week encourages children, families, and communities to live healthy, happy and drug-free lives. Did you know that teens that abstain from using drugs are in the majority? The majority of teens do not use drugs or alcohol. Teen alcohol use is down over 30% from the 1990s. It is cool to be drug free!

POUND AUTHOR:  Bring $10 cash (no checks please) to the library to pre-order a copy of Jared the Blood Genie. This book was written by Pound student & cancer survivor, Malcolm!
