REMINDER: There is no school on Friday.
7TH AND 8TH GRADE GIRLS: The district has decided to give sports in middle school a try after cancelling the early fall season. So, Girl’s Basketball will begin Mon. Oct. 19th with tryouts being conducted from 3:10-4:30. Tryouts may be held again on Tues. Oct. 20th depending on the numbers that sign up for tryouts. The sign up for tryouts will be Wed. Oct. 14th in the cafeteria right after school. There will not be a meeting, just sign up on your grade sheet and grab a red permission form and go. The first weekend of games vs other schools are tentatively scheduled for Sat. Oct. 31st. A schedule will come out when the district knows how many teams each middle school will be having participate. Please check the school Athletics website for future updates.
BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH: The most common cancer in children is leukemia, a type of blood cancer. Show your support for all childhood cancers by wearing your Gold or Yellow this Thursday!
