As you clean out lockers, and other spaces, any used, old, highlighter, permanent, or water color markers will be recycled.  One designated teacher in each hallway on each floor will have a box marked for recycled markers outside their door.  The Crayola marker Company will recycle whatever we send them.  This is one more way to save space in our landfill and do our part for the earth.

 

Please check the lost and found tables in the commons for your lost items.  Items not claimed will be donated after school is out.

 

Tomorrow is the last day to buy yearbooks.  If you are interested bring $25 cash or a check written out to Pound before the end of the day.

Elena Belashchecko won the Rubik’s cube contest at Fun Night with the fastest time of 55 seconds, Deva Pushkaran finished 2nd in 1 minute and 3 seconds and Adi Mehlin in 3rd  with a time 1 minute 7 seconds and Eliza Moss with 2 minutes and 2 seconds and Kalainey Nickel round out 5th with 2 minutes and 16 seconds. Please see Mr. Furse in Room 211 for your prizes.

The BOGO Book Fair closes at 3:30 tonight. You can shop during lunch or after school. All 3 lunches are open for book fair shoppers only today!

 

We have 43 cool posters to give away after the book fair. Be sure to make your way down to the library to enter the raffle for the posters you would like to have a chance at winning. Do this before 3:30 TODAY when the book fair closes!

STUCO will be sponsoring the Pound Fun Night TOMORROW, from 3-5 pm. This is for Pound students who are currently attending Pound, grades 6-8.  Parents may volunteer to help. TODAY is the last day to buy your ticket, they cost $5 and will be for sale before and after school in the commons and 6th Grade Hall.  Students must have a ticket to get in.  All games and activities are free.  Bring extra money for concessions.

The BOGO Book Fair is open from 8:00-3:30 today and tomorrow. You can shop during lunch or after school. All 3 lunches are open for book fair shoppers only today!

 

Important announcement to the many students who read 8 or more Golden Sowers: We are so proud of you! Stop by the library to claim your rewardTODAY! Tomorrow is the last day for you to spend the bucks you’ve earned at the book fair. It closes at 3:30 tomorrow!

 

It’s the last “Locker Lotto” of the year. If your locker number is posted outside the office window or the library, you have $5 to spend at the book fair! Come down at lunch or after school! New names were added today!
