S2 PLANNERS NOW AVAILABLE: 6th and 7th graders will receive one in Humanities/English classes. 8th graders if you want one, stop by the counseling center. 

CALLING ALL ACTORS!  Mrs. Williams is making a Mission Moment video and needs students to play roles in the film. If interested, see Mrs. Williams in room 217. 

SPELLING BEE: It’s not too late to sign up for the 35th Annual LPS Spelling Bee!  All middle school students are welcome to participate.  See your Humanities or English teachers to get the registration form. The competition is on Saturday, February 4, and registration is due on January 28.  

8TH GRADERS: We strongly encourage you to attend the meeting for the high school you will be attending next fall.  If you are trying to decide which school to attend, you can go to the meetings at all the schools you’re considering. All meetings start at 6:30 pm.

If you choose to attend a school that is not your home high school, you need to complete a High School Choice form. The deadline is January 31st.  Forms are located on lps.org.
