ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

SPELLING BEE: It’s not too late to sign up for the 35th Annual LPS Spelling Bee!  All middle school students are welcome to participate.  See your Humanities or English teachers to get the registration form. The competition is on Saturday, February 4, and registration is due on January 28.  

SWEETS! The Pound PTO invites you to support the PTO by buying a tasty treat at Butterfly Bakery (4209 S. 33rd) this Saturday from 7am-2pm.  Make sure to mention you are with Pound Middle School when you order and pay.  

1ST SEM. STS STUDENTS: If you have a project to pick up, or one to finish, stop by today and see  Mr. Skiles.

8TH GRADERS: We strongly encourage you to attend the meeting for the high school you will be attending next fall.  If you are trying to decide which school to attend, you can go to the meetings at all the schools you’re considering. All meetings start at 6:30 pm.
