ANNOUNCEMENTS:

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH: Did you know that on average, every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States?  Raise awareness and wear PINK this Friday!

Another fact for Red Ribbon Week: Did you know that marijuana can cause users to see things that are not really there and believe something that is not true? Marijuana can alter senses, cause changes in mood, slow reaction time and make it difficult to think or solve problems. Marijuana use can negatively impact school performance, reduce life satisfaction, and impair driving. Long term use can cause vomiting, nausea, increased heart rate and respiratory problems

POUND AUTHOR:  Bring $10 cash (no checks please) to the library to pre-order a copy of Jared the Blood Genie. This book was written by Pound student & cancer survivor, Malcolm!

Order forms and money are due TODAY!
