Another fact for Red Ribbon Week: Did you know that repeated drug use can change your brain, causing users to feel depressed and lifeless? Drug users rely on drugs to make them feel good or even normal. Even though the high from drugs may feel good in the beginning, the high does not last. The changes to the brain are permanent and can make life less enjoyable.

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH: Did you know 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime?  Raise awareness by wearing PINK this Friday!

POUND AUTHOR:  Bring $10 cash (no checks please) to the library to pre-order a copy of Jared the Blood Genie. This book was written by Pound student & cancer survivor, Malcolm!

Order forms and money are due by this Friday!
