The winners of the LOOK LIKE THE BOOK contest are posted outside the office and outside of the library! Stop by and take a look…you will be amazed at how creative your peers are! If you entered the contest, look at a poster to see if you’re a winner and stop by the library for your very exciting prize! Winners were chosen based on effort and creativity. Thanks to all who took the time to do something different and enter the contest!

The library closes at 3:10 tonight…just enough time to return a book or do a quick check-out!

It’s time for November’s Sower Squad! MOOOOO…..no, there’s not a cow in the office….that’s the book we’ll be reading! Check out the poster outside the library or on the club bulletin board in the cafeteria. Get a permission form in the library and join us for a great book, great snacks, a great time & earn “bucks” to spend at the next book fair. Sower Squad meets 2 Thursdays a month right after school.

Every Friday over 2,000 backpacks full of food are sent home to students in Lincoln. Without this backpack full of food those students would not know if and when they would eat over the weekend before coming back to school on Monday. The LPS backpack program helps to feed your fellow classmates and make sure they have the nutrients necessary to be successful in school. Starting next week, every Friday in November, during lunch you will be able to vote for which beard you like the best and want to see get a pie in the face. A 25 cent donation gets you a raffle ticket to have a chance to be the student who throws the pie in the face of the winning beard during lunch. There will be one pie per grade. Look for posters around the school for more information and be on the look out for awesome facial hair on your favorite teachers!
