Pound PTO meets TODAY from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Pound cafeteria. All interested parents are invited to attend.

 

The BOGO Book Fair is open from 8:00-3:30 today through Friday. You can shop during lunch or after school. All 3 lunches are open for book fair shoppers only today!

 

It’s the last “Locker Lotto” of the year. If your locker number is posted outside the office window or the library, you have $5 to spend at the book fair! Come down at lunch or after school! New names were added today!

 

STUCO will be sponsoring the Pound Fun Night Friday May 11, from 3-5 pm. This is for Pound students who are currently attending Pound, grades 6-8.  Parents may volunteer to help.  Students must have a ticket to get in, tickets will be sold for $5 through Thursday before and after school in the commons and 6th Grade Hall.  All games and activities are free.  Bring extra money for concessions.

 

Yearbook sales before and after school in the commons this week for $25. If you are not sure if you ordered a yearbook check the list in the main office window.

 

Done reading that library book? Please return it to the library today.

 

The 2018-19 Lincoln Southwest Student Council list is posted in the main office window.

 

 

Pound Track Athletes did well in the All City Middle School Track meet last Friday at Lincoln High’s Beechner track.  Here our 1st, 2nd or 3rd place finishers and their events:

 

7th grade girls:

Neryah Hekl= 1st in 100 & 1st  in 200

7th grade girls team finished 6th overall.

 

7th grade boys:

Gunnar Gottula= 2nd in Shot Put

Dawson Dynek= 1st in Hurdles (He set a new meet record)

7th grade boys team finished 5th overall.

 

8th grade girls:

Tayah Ryan= 1st in Long Jump; 2nd in 100; 2nd in 200 (she broke the meet record along with the 1st place runner in the 200)

Corynne Olson= 1st in 1600; 2nd in 800

Sydney Logan= 3rd in 1600

4×400 Relay Team finished 2nd

8th grade girls team finished 2nd overall.

 

8th grade boys:

Braden Roberts= Tie for 2nd in High Jump

Jamison Focht= 3rd in Shot Put

Louis Antinoro= 1st in 1600; 2nd in 800 (he broke the meet record along with the 1st place runner in the 800)

8th grade boys team finished 4th overall.

 

Thanks for all your effort track athletes!  The Pound Squires had a great track season!
