Bags for a Bench outdid itself in April.  With an April count of 780 pounds, we ended the Bags for the Bench challenge with a grand total of 2,131 pounds.  We won’t find out till later where we landed in the ranks of other schools.  Thanks to all students, staff, parents, and extended Pound people for helping to bring in the bags.  Although we will not need any more large quantities of plastic bags because the TREX challenge is done, we will continue to recycle plastic bags at breakfast and lunch in the Trex boxes in the cafeteria.  Thanks again and stay tuned to find out if we won a bench!

TEACHERS please put your blue recycle bins in the hallway for 3rd period pick-up.
