Today the United States celebrates the birth of one of the greatest Presidents, Abraham Lincoln.  He was President during the Civil War and worked to bring the United States back together.  Lincoln is best known for the Gettysburg Address when he honored the men who died in battle during the most-deadly battle of the Civil War.  Another achievement was the Emancipation Proclamation that freed slaves in the rebelling states.  Happy Birthday, Abe.
