8th Graders: Do you enjoy taking pictures and creating layout designs? Then yearbook club may be just what you’re looking for. There will be a short (15 minutes tops) informational meeting about Pound’s yearbook club after school TODAY, September 7 in room 104 (Mrs. Fusco’s room).

If you joined the September Sower Squad reading “Princess X,” head on down to the media center right after school today with your book for food & fun! Club lasts until 4:00 so let your ride know!

The library is closed after school today due to Sower Squad Book Club.

Are you caring, friendly, out-going and looking for opportunities to help others?  Would you feel comfortable talking about what a great school Pound Middle School is?  If you answered “yes” to these questions, try being a Pound Pal!  Pick up an application for Pound Pals in the Counseling area.  Students in all grades are invited!  Applications are due by Friday, September 8th.

If you are interested in the Pound Trap Shooting Team? Stop by the office and pick up a flyer.

Applications and recommendations for STUCO are due this Friday by 3:00.  If you didn’t attend the meeting and want to join, applications are in the office.  Also – if you are running for an officer position – those applications are due Friday as well.

Are you good with math?…or better yet, do you want to be better?  Try out Pound’s award winning Math Club.  It begins on Monday September 11 in Room 211 right after school until 4:00 p.m. Please arrange rides accordingly.

After school clubs start next week!  Clubs are free and open to all students, but you must sign up ahead of time.  Sign up sheets are on the bulletin board in the cafeteria.  Clubs for next week are DIY Club, Pinterest Club, Pokemon Club, Card Games, Crafty Critters, Ping Pong, Roller Coaster, Magic: the Gathering and Movie Making Club.  The Clubs Calendar is listed on the Pound website under Student Activities or you can also check the Counseling Google Classroom for the Clubs Calendar.  Clubs last until 4:00, so plan your rides.
